The Laguna Aeration Kit includes everything you need to enhance the quality of pond water during the cold winter months as well as the hot summer season. In winter, it maintains an opening at the pond surface and prevents pond surfaces from completely freezing.

This allows the release of toxic gases and the replenishment of fresh oxygen that is critical for the survival of fish. In the summer, it provides supplemental aeration which improves the quality of pond water and its inhabitants.

The kit includes a powerful air pump, 9 m (30 ft) winter-grade airline tubing, 2.5 cm (1 in) air stone and a styrofoam float for adjusting the depth of the airstone.

The Laguna PowerHeat 315-watt De-Icer keeps and maintains a thawed, open area at the pond surface, allowing toxic gases from fish respiration and decomposing organic matter to escape.

The thawed area also allows oxygen to re-enter the pond. Safe for plastic and liner ponds, the De-Icer will not harm fish or plants.

The unit includes a highly visible LED pilot light that indicates when it's on, a 315-watt heating element that melts snowfall on contact allowing clear visibility of the LED light, a thermostatically-controlled on/off feature that prevents overheating and saves energy costs, and a 7 m (22 ft) electrical cord with grounded plug.

Made from stainless steel the heater has an extremly high impact resistance. The unit has dual-zone integrated thermostats to help heat distribution. It is suitable for garden zones 1 to 8 (-6 º C / 20 º F and below).
