The Fluval SEA Hydrometer accurately and conveniently measures salt levels and specific gravity in marine aquariums.

Key Features :

• Compact design with large, easy-to-read markings 
• Safe salinity range identified in green for added convenience (Note: some corals require specific salinity levels) 
• Can be permanently installed inside the tank for continuous readings or used as a portable measuring device when necessary
• To ensure consistent salinity levels are maintained, test weekly
• For best performance, periodically soak hydrometer in 1:1 vinegar-water solution for 20-30 minutes. Thoroughly rinse in tap water after cleaning.

Instructions :

1. Rinse hydrometer in tap water
2. In-tank continuous readings: Submerge hydrometer and press suction cup against inside glass. If air bubbles appear on armature, gently tap to remove them
3. Out-of-tank periodic readings: Fill hydrometer by submerging it in aquarium saltwater. Remove hydrometer, gently tap on solid surface to dislodge air bubbles from armature. If bubbles remain, use a fine instrument to gently remove them. 
4. After use, empty hydrometer and rinse with tap water.
