Laguna Foam Media is specifically designed for use inside the Laguna PowerFlo Mechanical and Biological Underwater Filters. The coarse foam material performs mechancal filtration, capturing dirt and debris as water flows through it. The foam is also porous to allow some degree of biological filtration.
